Jenny Carson

Jenny Carson, an Associate Professor of History at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, studies and teaches twentieth century American women’s labour history with a particular focus on the history of service work and women’s organizing in the United States. Her book manuscript (near completion), ‘It was up to All of us to Fight’: Women, Work, and Resistance in the Laundry Industry, provides the first book-length examination of laundry work and laundry worker organizing in the United States.
