With the end of the year fast approaching, I decided to join the pundits and leave one parting thought. So here goes!

Class warfare looms in 2011

We've already gotten a harbinger of the class warfare that the emboldened Republican right will wage against the people when the new Congress convenes in January.

Death penalty, shot through with racism, cannot be fixed

Justice John Paul Stevens say capital punishment is "shot through with racism, skewed toward conviction, infected with politics and tinged with hysteria." It's  past time to end the practice.
