ST LOUIS: 9th Annual Working Class Media & Democracy forum

December 1 2012 19:00 - December 1 2012 23:00

Natalie Patrick-Knox, national Immigration and Workers' Rights Campaign organizer for Jobs with Justice, will keynote the forum.

Patrick-Knox will speak on the depiction of immigrants and immigration reform in the mainstream media and highlight current struggles for immigrant and workers' rights. A question and answer session will follow directly after Patrick-Knox's presentation.

Additionally, this year's forum is co-sponsored by the Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates (MIRA) coalition, and will be held on the last day of MIRA's annual art show at the same location.

So come support the People's World and MIRA -- hear a presentation on immigrant and workers' rights and pick-up some great artwork!
