Massachusetts aims to curb modern-day slavery

Massachusetts is one of only five states without a law aimed at ending human trafficking, but a bill introduced Jan. 20 into both the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives aims to change that.


New law seen as victory for trafficked women

Governor David Paterson signed into law a bill  stipulating that a person who has been the victim of sex trafficking can go back to court to have arrests for prostitution  erased from their record.
