Video: Chicagoans march on monthly jobs report

Every first Friday of the month, the U.S. Department of Labor announces its jobs report, which includes the estimated official unemployment rate and the number of jobs created that month. And for the last several months Chicago Jobs with Justice has held a press conference to evaluate the report and demand action on jobs creation.

On this first Friday, April 1, Chicago JwJ joined with U.S. Uncut and other community allies and marched on the Bank of America, demanding that the financial giant pay its fair share of federal taxes. Currently, BoA pays no federal taxes – and even gets a tax rebate.
