J. Mijin Cha

I research and write about climate and environmental justice, how to transition to a low carbon economy in a way that protects workers and communities, labor/climate coalitions, and the relationship between inequality and the climate crisis. I’m an assistant professor at Occidental College, Urban and Environmental Policy Department, and a Fellow at Cornell University’s Worker Institute. I’m also on the Board of Center on Race, Poverty, and the Environment (CRPE), Good for Girls, and Welcome Ideas.
