Tell Congress: Tax the rich, don’t cut Social Security

Tax the rich, don’t cut Social Security!

Call, write, or visit your U.S. Senators and Representative to demand they oppose any closed-door commissions or attempts at benefit cuts or privatization of Social Security during the lame duck session before the new Congress is sworn in.

Instead, they should vote to “Scrap the Cap” on income above $184,500 and make the rich pay on their full income like the rest of us. This will strengthen the Social Security system and make increased benefits possible for current and future generations.

Oppose all attempts during the lame duck session to increase funds for war instead of human needs! Sign onto the Congressional pledge to count every vote and recognize the results of the election!

Call 202-225-3121 today and ask for your U.S. Senators and Representative.

Please share with your coworkers, friends, family, and neighbors.
