A London brothel fighting closure by the authorities invited an unlikely witness to give evidence on its behalf on Tuesday – the local priest.
Reverend David Gilmore, the rector of Soho, spoke at a hearing at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court to decide whether the premises should be closed permanently.
He said that he had seen drug dealing in the area but never outside the brothel.
