Cher, responding on Twitter to Donald Trump’s bid for the Oval Office declares, “IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, I’M MOVING TO JUPITER.”
Describing him as a bigot with an ego the size of Texas she questioned both his style and credentials. “Donald Trump can’t come up with a hairstyle that looks human, how can he come up with a plan to defeat ISIS.”
Trump outraged Mexican Americans and civil rights group during his announcement by describing Mexican immigrants as rapists and drug dealers. “[Mexico] are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and they’re rapists,” he said.
Lisa Navarrete of La Raza said in response the Trump’s remarks were “offensive.”
Pointing to a general problem of racism among other GOP contenders, observers have pointed out that the response to Trump’s remarks have been silence.
Cher, at least has the courage to speak up. Thank God she’s not a Republican. Sorry Sonny.
