Video: LA bus riders protest transportation cuts

Bus riders gathered on a busy street in Los Angeles, California, recently as part of a national day of action to stop bus service cuts and fare increases. They are asking President Obama, U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and Congress to stop the proposed 37 percent cuts in public transportation, which is being recommended by the New Federal Surface Transportation Act. Testimony in this video shows you first hand the impact it will have on the working people who rely on public transportation to travel to and from work every day.
