Day of the Dead video

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is observed November 1 -2 in many Mexican communities in the U.S.

It is a recognition of the cycle of life in which death is a natural part of that cycle. For many of the indigenous peoples of Mexico, elders believe that on this day a portal opens up where our loved ones on the other side can pass through this portal and connect with us.
