Congress must refuse to be pressured to pass the SAVE Act or the reconciliation bill with the SAVE Act attached. The only voting emergency is the frantic, manufactured power grab to take voting rights away from millions of eligible voters of color, working class voters, and women with no passports or who changed their name in marriage from that on their birth certificate.
Congress must take immediate action to guarantee safe and secure elections. Say NO to the SAVE Act and YES to the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act reintroduced with 220 co-sponsors HR 14 / SB 4884. Say YES to the Right to Vote Act S 4484 / H.R. 9437 introduced last week to establish clear protections for voters and help ensure that every eligible voter can exercise their constitutional right to vote.
