Indianapolis – Hundreds of union members and their supporters drowned out the Indiana Republican House Caucus on Monday (Day 8) as they tried to hold a rump hearing session on their proposed anti-workers legislation. Most Democratic House members are in Illinois to avoid a quorum as a way of stalling the Republican anti-worker agenda.

Danny Glover, wearing his union activist hat, joined the protesters with a rousing message of support.  (video below) State Senator Vi Simpson also addressed the union crowd saying that workers didn’t start this class warfare, but that workers, supporters and the Democrats are sure ready to fightback.
