Dr. Lawrence S. Wittner is Professor of History Emeritus at SUNY/Albany and the author or editor of thirteen books, primarily on issues of foreign policy and world peace, including Confronting the Bomb (Stanford University Press). He is an activist, trustee of the Albany County AFL-CIO, and co-chair of the national board of Peace Action.
